The first week of practice can feel a little busy, so the captains have designed a way to provide some educational sessions for parents. New info for new families and a refresher for returning families! These sessions will take place outside of the pool gates by the picnic tables.This helps keep the pool deck clear so Coach Erica and the coaching team can really focus on getting the swimmers ready for the first meet. Feel free to come connect with other families and get some helpful info while the swimmers build independence and coaches do their thing. Thank you for helping set the tone for a great season!

Blue Streaks March in Bon Air Victorian Day Parade
Meet at Bon Air Baptist Church

Join us for the Bon Air Victorian Day Parade! This awesome tradition shuts down Buford Road for about an hour while organizations march down the road in a parade, throwing candy to spectators by the road. It begins at the Bon Air Baptist Church and ends at the Bon Air Christian Church, where there is a small festival with performances. Our Swim Team will be in the parade again this year! We'll have a float that kids can ride in, or they can march along-side it. All registered swimmers can march in the parade! We will also need up to 8 parent chaperones, so parents of younger children, please consider signing up! All parents and swimmers should be wearing Bon Air blue - ideally a Spirit Wear shirt. Please RSVP in SwimTopia so we know how many participants to expect! Line up for the parade starts at 10:30 am in the Bon Air Baptist Church parking lot. |

Suit Try On Night - Last Chance!!!

We loved seeing so many families at the suit try on night on 4/30! If you missed it, you have one more chance to have your swimmers fitted for suits so that you can place your order through SwimOutlet. Since we are working with SwimOutlet this year, there is no local store for families to visit to try on suits. 5/8 from 7:00-8:00 will be the last suit try on event of our season. If you are unable to attend this event, and still need to be fitted for a suit, please reach out to our Spirit Wear captain (Shawn Ralston) to discuss options. |
